This listing is for a Millefiori Glass necklace wire-wrapped in .925 sterling silver wire.  Each piece of jewelry is a handcrafted, unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Millefiori, which translates to “thousand flowers”, is one of the oldest and most sought after techniques used in Murano glass making. By molding glass rods together into a bundle, the artisans create whimsical patterns resembling flowers. Once these glass “bundles” are heated, they can be stretched and manipulated into whatever unique shape the artisan desires. Just like a flower existing in nature, no two millefiori creations are exactly alike.

The cabochon was shaped and polished by us from a rough gemstone into the unique piece of jewelry you see today.
