Blue coral, scientifically known as Heliopora coerulea, is a rare and fascinating type of coral found in the Indo-Pacific region. It's notable for its unique blue color, both in its polyps and skeleton, which is unusual for corals. Blue coral has also remained largely unchanged in form for millions of years.
