This listing is for a rough slab of Noreena Jasper from Western Australia, 100% natural. It can be used for lapidary to make cabochons or as a display specimen.

Noreena Jasper comes exclusively from the Pilbara region of Western Australia, approximately 700 miles north of Perth. It was discovered on, and named after, Noreena Downs Station, a remote cattle ranch near the town of Nullagine.

Despite its name, it is not scientifically a true jasper, but rather a geologically ancient silicified mudstone (pelite) dating back over 2.6 billion years. It is celebrated for its striking geometric, abstract, and cracked-desert patterns, which range in color from deep reds and mustards to slate gray and cream.
